well hello.

It has been WAY too long since I have posted last. My bad.. Dave is busy working. He is gone ALL the time which is no fun. I guess its better to work than not, but I wish there were more cases in Utah for him. He is looking for a security or police officer position in the Davis county area. We don't want to go south past Salt Lake. I am busy with work too. I am almost done with all of my training on the donor floor (phlebotomy). Next is working up front where I get to run and process donors before they go out to the floor. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. Haha.. I get requests by donors to stick them (which is always an honor) and I wont be able to do that when I work up front. Oh well.. In case you're wondering why we haven't had kids yet, we just found out some news with the HSG test I had last Wednesday. **Notice, I am about to go into detail, so if you don't want to know, you can stop reading.** Apparently My fallopian tubes were closed and the dye test I had was a basic attempt to open them. The PA was able to open my right fallopian tube, but just could not get my left to open up. (But hey, Ill take one open tube vs. none) I also have some scar tissue in my uterus due to an infection I had a few years ago. Also, my uterus is tilted a little to the left and back. SO! My doctor referred me to see a infertility specialist. (DEFINITELY not what we wanted to hear.) So I am still having trouble soaking that one in, but at this point, if it will help us have a baby, were all over it! I have an appointment set for May 20th. Dave wont be able to come due to work, so hopefully I can brave it through by myself. Also, have you heard about the show Duck Dynasty? Yeah.. were hooked. Its our current favorite show to watch. Dave even has a Si shirt, Jack!

work.

I just have I say that I LOVE my job. It is so awesome! Everyone is so friendly and happy to be there working all day. The management is so friendly and kind. It's the total opposite of my last job (I was so worried about that). I'm technically going to be a Phlebotomist but I will also work in the front, taking peoples vitals and helping with the computers and debit cards and work in the back taking test from samples of the doners plasma as well. All of that will take about 6 to 9 months of training. I'm not to thrilled about that part. I'm also not too thrilled about waking up at 3:15 in the morning to get ready for work. When we move back to Layton in about 4ish months I can hopefully cut that time in half. Dave is still working as a PI. He doesn't love it, but he's grateful for it. We will be earning and saving a ton more money now, so we will be able to put him through post training if that's what he still wants to pursue.

New Job

So Dave was gone for all of last week and he came home to a surprise. A happy wife with a new job! It's only taken a year of being like this chick. Yes, I totally looked like her. Can you see the resemblance?
One night after having enough of this and feeling like I'm not worth anything earlier that day, I felt that I needed to get on job search site. I did and found this cool sounding job and applied. 2 days later I got a call for an interview. The day of my interview my brain looked like this inside.
The interview went REALLY well because it turned into a job shadow for the next hour which then turned into another interview which turned into a job offer. I was like...
Yup, So excited I switched genders. So now I'm waiting for the first day where I'm sure it will be like..
And this is what I'll be doing.
I'll be a Plasma Center Technician at Biolife Plasma Center. Yay me!!!

Pictures

Everyone loves pictures. At least I do. Especially ones that show the insides of peoples houses so I can see how they decorate and to get some ideas. That sounds creepy, but I swear it's not. Our family room
Kitchen
Laundry closet
Bathroom
Bedroom
Things about our apartment I love... The vents are on the ceiling.
Were the lucky ones to break in the new flooring and carpet.
We live 5 blocks from the new Brigham City Temple.
Last but not least... we're closer to our "religious" Friday date night at Improv

we moved.

Suprise! We moved to Brigham City about a month ago. It's so funny how you can fall in love with such a cute old small town. We live about 5 blocks from the new temple. Our ward is AWESOME! Everyone is so friendly and happy. I was worried about not having a mall or a not a whole lot of stores around, but honestly I haven't missed it. Dave has been home for about 1/4th of the time since our move. He's been busy with traveling. So its been all up to me with the whole moving thing and not to brag, but I did one hell of a job. My only complaint is I busted my left knee. It still hurts, but its a small price to pay not having anyone help move (Accept on moving day. Thanks moms and dads, you're the best) so here's what you all have been waiting for... our new pad! Its a tiny bit under 900 sq ft. We got new carpet and flooring and of course fresh paint. There was no hole limit, so my friend chelsee and I decked out the place in under an hour, believe it or not. The picture of the mountains is our living room view.

Namaste

Lately I have picked up a new hobby. Yoga. I am getting super flexible and I feel so much happier and carry good vibes and it's just fantastic! Last time I went in for a zone, my friend recommended it to me. I thought it was lame and totally not a workout. PSH! Oh was I wrong. In fact, already 7 lbs lost wrong. It has me sweating the first 3 minutes. Sometimes in the morning, I will yoga outside with the sunrise, and in the evening with the sun setting. It it so beautiful!!!It's such a relaxing workout, so I do it like twice or even 3 times a day. (Just because I want to keep wearing my cool yoga outfits and I don't want to change back into hot clothes, blah!)And the thing that compliments a nice workout (or at anytime)is a cool cup of green tea!
