Summer 2011

First off, pictures are to come. That is a whole other story.
So many things have happened this summer. Like, since we have moved into our new place, we realzed that yard work isnt always fun and easy. One saturday, we spent all day with my parents at our house pulling weeds, mowing the lawn and babying our peach tree and raspberry bushes. Then a week day later in the week, one of my buddies that just got home from his mission came over to help us pull all the weeds in the garden (aprox. 1/4 of the backyard). Thanks Jordan!! (This is where I would insert before and after pictures. hahaha)
Lets see. What else... Oh! We went to snowbird this past week. It was so nice to get away and relax. We went on a hike and it was very lovely. Lots of green, not a cloud in the sky, pretty flowers and the water was pretty high too.
David also has this new awesome job opportunity to be a investigator for a company called Photofax(he is actually on his last interview/ride along as we speak. he'll be home in about 11 hours. yikes) With this job, he would be traveling about 1/3rd of the month and I would be able to go to 2 weekends a month and go to school full time for now. We are so excited for him and this opportunity. (We'll let you know in the next day or two if he gets it, and im sure we will post about it, so keep your eyes open).
Going back to raspberries, (I just had this memory of when I was like 9, living in Vancover, Washington driving around all morning and afternoon with my mom and my sister with big bowls going to random peoples houses with signs on there porch saying "Fresh ______berries, you pick") we have like 9 bushes and they are so full of the delicioso berries that we have to water and pick like every day. I love them so much that this is quite fun for me. I want to try to make freezer jam this year. I will let you know how that first time experience goes.. Also, I've been giving a lot away, so if you want some, PLEASE COME PICK!!! They are also AMAZING with frozen yogurt. We have had that like every night for the past week and a half. mmm!
